AH, WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN
Been a while since I've done one of these. But after reading the ever reliably good Comic Book Urban Legends Revealed over at CBR I felt compelled too. If only to share the wonderful art that follows.
Now, for me, Waid is hit and miss and Aquaman is a character I've enjoyed more in a team/team-up setting than as an individual so the only reason I would have picked up this one shot had it seen the light of day all those years ago is because of the art:
Sadly, Mike Wieringo passed in 2007 and the comic industry lost an extremely gifted artist.
