TOP TEN
2013 END OF YEAR SPECIAL
Okay, I realise this weeks "Hot Tuesday" is a little earlier than normal, but that has to do with the fact that it would've fallen on Christmas Eve and, well, y'know. Anyway, here is a special edition which runs down the Top Ten women to have graced "Hot Tuesday" in 2013.

2014 is just few weeks away and we already have a lot to look forward to come the new year. But today Cartoon Brew are reporting that we can also look forward to the return of the brilliant Powerpuff Girls in a one-off special this January.
Batman vs Superman: movie stars pick their favourite.
Personally, I love them both equally and cannot wait for this flick to hit the cinematorium and then on bluray.

The problem I had with Tennant's Doctor is that they made the regeneration into an event (and the story, in my opinion, suffered) but that doesn't seems to be the case here. We know there'll be a regeneration but this just seems like the final chapter of the story of Matt Smith's Doctor.
I'll be sorry to Matt Smith go, he was easily my favourite of the NuWho Doctors. I look forward to seeing what Peter Capaldi does with everyones favourite Time Lord though.

THOUGHTS ON
With the Man of Steel being released on DVD/Bluray this week over here in the UK, it is time for me to look back over the film and reassess my thoughts on the same.
WARNING: SPOILERS!

According to Bleeding Cool DC Entertainment's big news for 2014 is going to be the announcement of a series of lower prominence comic books being turned in relatively lower budget (between $20m and $40m budgets, apparently) films.
Although their bread and butter is primarily superheroes, DC have an advantage over Marvel in that they have a more diverse set of titles that can fit into different film genres more easily that the House of the Mouse Ideas so that they are not reliant on adaptations of their cape and spandex crowd.
So, hit the jump to check out my picks from the DC catalogue ripe for a big screen adaptation.
ThinkMcFlyThink.com has, somehow, managed to obtain a still from screen test footage of Henry Cavill auditioning for the never made JJ Abrams/McG Superman: Flyby.
Hit the jump to check it out.
