Be afraid of... BANECAT!

March 30th 1939 is the publication date for Detective Comics #27. And so the World was introduced to the great creation of Bob Kane and Bill Finger:

It should also be noted, much like Lois Lane debuting in the first Superman story and with Gotham on the horizon, this year is also the 75th birthday of Jim Gordon.

Here's a round up of all the interesting comic, film and TV stories of the week.

27 March 2014

DC/WB have today released the official Batman 75th Anniversary image. Plus, some pictures from the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight game.
The official trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014):

I have a soft spot for the original TMNT movie, but I'm not a fan of a lot of the folks in front of and behind the camera on this flick. Going by the trailer, however, the jury is not just out it has not even come near the courthouse yet.

26 March 2014

The latest character reveal is the official image of Ben McKenzie as the shows lead character, Detective James Gordon.
Edge of Tomorrow official main trailer:

No specific theme this time around, just a buncha of random thoughts.

And now it is the turn of Robin Lord Taylor to have his official image as Oswald Cobblepot released.

24 March 2014

Hit the jump to check out the first official look at Sean Pertwee as the ultimate surrogate father/butler/confidante, Alfred Pennyworth.
Here is the second, rather quite ace, official X-Men: Days of Future Past trailer. Be warned there is a blink and you'll miss it potential spoiler.

And to accompany the trailer the new poster:

The UK release date for X:DOFP is the 22nd of May and here are the release dates for the rest of the planet.

Hot on the heels of the reveal of Donal Logue as Bullock, here comes the first look of Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle in the upcoming Gotham.

9 March 2014

Constantine, The Flash and Gotham will soon be joining Arrow as DC/WB do on TV what Marvel seem to be doing on film.

Whilst we already know Arrow and The Flash share the same TV universe it is a safe bet to assume (given the different networks) that the DCTV Universe will not include Gotham and Constantine. So, here are my picks for further DCTV projects for the CW and beyond.
Hit the jump to check out the the design for one cool-ass Wonder Woman t-shirt design from Dustin Nguyen.
