AH, WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN
With the news that the WB are stepping up production on a Justice League movie in the wake of Marvel's Avengers (Assemble) doing huge business many will be forgiven for forgetting that the Justice League almost made it to the silver screen first.
In 2007 the WB hired Kieran and Michele Mulroney to pen the script and George Miller to direct. Due to a number of factors, amongst them the writers strike, the film quickly dissolved and was placed on indefinite hold.
Whilst never officially announced, it was believed that the cast was in place. So here we have a look at the people who could have been the Justice League:
D.J Cotrona as Superman
Armie Hammer as Batman
Megan Gale as Wonder Woman
Common as Green Lantern
Adam Brody as The Flash
Hugh Keays-Byrne as J'onn J'onzz
And, Santiago Cabrera as Aquaman
