OFFICIAL! The WB have today announced the actor who will portray Lex Luthor in the Man of Steel 2: Superman vs Batman. It is a surprising and left-field choice.

Okay, not being a gamer, I've come across this particular video a couple of months (3 at least according to YouTube) after it was released. However, this video captures Bruce Wayne and his journey to becoming the Batman brilliantly and in a way a lot of other mediums have not.

TV Guide has today debuted the teaser trailer for this years "Son of Batman" based on the 2006 arc by Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert.

Starring: Jason O'Mara as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Morena Baccarin as Talia Al Ghul, Stuart Allan as Damian and Giancarlo Esposito as Ra's Al Ghul.

When I recently stated that I was looking forward to hearing more about Man of Steel 2: Superman vs Batman, this is not the news I was wanting.

On Friday the WB announced that the movie has been bumped from its 17th July 2015 release date to the 6th May 2016 (which is my birthday month I guess but...). 

We're into the second year of The New 52 and rumours abound of changes coming up before it hits its third birthday*. With that in mind, hit the jump to check out the titles I think should be added to the roster of comics to be produced.

Fortunately those of us in the UK won't have to wait too long with it scheduled to return to our screens on April 7th.

To say it is strong this year is an understatement. And across every category too.

It is a shame that Man of Steel was overlooked in the visual effects category (and original score as I thought it was one of Zimmers' best, though he has not missed out a nod). I know, in my head, who I want to win and I have an idea as to who I think may win. Not long to wait to find out I guess.

THINGS I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO IN 2014

The year is just over a week old, so I assume there will be stuff that gets announced for later in the year that'll no doubt make it to this list. However, thems the breaks. So, for now, here are the things that I am currently aware of that I am looking forward to.

So, Peter Capaldi is in Cardiff and has started filming Doctor Who.

Ah well, the final episode of the season is, sadly, upon us.
