Welcome to the first of a new regular feature wherein sequels/remakes/reboots of movies will battle it out to see who shall be crowned the winner.

The rules are simple:
  • The first film in a series cannot battle with a sequel but can with a previous iteration (i.e, Batman Begins cannot battle The Dark Knight but can battle Batman '89);
  • Scores are taken from the users and critics percentages from Rotten Tomatoes, I then give my verdict on each film and the winner is picked.
So, without further ado, hit the jump to check out this months combatants:

CRITICS - 56%
AUDIENCE - 76%
CRITICS - 76%
AUDIENCE - 62%
