Hot on the heels of the announcement of Routh joining Arrow, Variety is reporting that Robbie Amell (cousin of Arrow lead Stephen Amell) is joining the cast of The Flash as Ronnie Raymond.
Ronnie Raymond is better known as the DC superhero Firestorm and will be a recurring character starting with episode three. In a deviation from the comic source, Raymond is described as a S.T.A.R Labs maintenance worker and Dr Caitlin Snow's fiance, who played an integral part in the particle accelerator accident that transformed Barry Allen into the Flash.
